The Dee is one of the most famous Salmon rivers in the world. Recent reports suggest the spring fishing in the 2001 season saw catches doubled on many beats from the previous year and that the Dee is back to its excellent form. There were also unconfirmed reports of a 70lber returned a few years ago.
Do not overlook the River Don either, it is really pretty and the middle reaches are a joy to fish with a decent single hander. |
